Sand Dunes

Lost in the wilderness,

Wandering in the magic of an unknown flute,

And as I go along life's way,

Hold my hand, dear God

Why is this happening?

My eyes light up to you, with tears,

Sinking deeper and deeper.

Mind reeling like kaleidoscope in varied patterns.

Like the eerie of the silence that flows from a conch,

Blind alleys that I keep floating endlessly,

Desperately searching for that voice,

Save me, save me, dear God.

A little hand is tugging me,

Wake me up,

From this terrible dream.

There she goes away in a flower strewn path

There she goes away in a flower strewn path,

As light as a breeze,

Softly in peace,

Taking my heart away,

Rocking gently, in palanquin’s sway

Sleep, sweet sleep, wisp and shroud her.

There she goes away in a flower strewn path,

Tired and wizened,

All alone, till the tunnel’s end.

My heart aches and grieves,

To her eternal home, she leaves.

There she goes away in a flower strewn path,

Dust of years shall not obscure her from my memory,

Love all through my life, I will ferry

Someday memories will revive and survive,

Discovered in future generation to live.

As a new life to be born.
